The Bombard Cannon was a great example of the evolution of Gunpowder, starting from the Fire Lances of Atlantean colonies in Asia, Hand Cannons forged in Iberia, and finally the Arquebus made on Atlantis itself.

Bombard Cannons could fire cannonballs anywhere from 50 pounds to several tonnes, using anywhere from a small to massive amount of gunpowder to launch these projectiles between 400 metres to even several kilometres at great accuracy.

Bombard Cannons were effective, slow and expensive to produce, aswell as to move. A 300-pound-firing cannon could weigh several hundred kilograms, and would take weeks to transport.
